Questions
Do customers need an app?
No. They scan your QR once, tap a link in their email, and the passport lives in their browser. They can add it to the home screen so it opens in one tap.
What stops someone stamping their own card?
Only your linked devices can stamp. The customer QR changes every minute, so screenshots do not work, and every stamp records which till issued it.
What is the blockchain bit?
Every stamp is also written to the Koinos blockchain as a non-transferable token held by the customer. It costs nothing, nobody has to know it is there, and a customer's history outlives any one shop or app. We hold no money and no keys of value.
Can I use my existing barcode scanner?
Yes. Counter-mounted 2D scanners type what they read, so open the scanner page in "Counter scanner" mode and hold the customer's phone under it.
